PricingOne at The Consumer Goods Forum Global Summit 2026: From AI Pilots to Consumer and Commercial Impact
Vienna welcomed more than 900 executives, 130 CEOs, 125 speakers and delegates from over 40 countries for The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Global Summit 2026. Under this year’s theme, Adaptive Edge, one message stood above all others: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a leadership imperative.
Across three days of keynote sessions, executive roundtables and customer discussions, the focus shifted away from the promise of AI towards a far more important question: How do organizations scale AI to create measurable business value?
For PricingOne, it was a privilege not only to attend the Summit but also to take the stage alongside Danone, one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies, to showcase how AI is transforming Revenue Growth Management (RGM), consumer and commercial impact.
One of the strongest messages throughout the Summit was that the conversation around AI has fundamentally evolved. The focus is no longer on deploying more AI tools, but on embedding AI into the commercial decisions that matter most. Whether in pricing, Revenue Growth Management, supply chain optimization or product innovation, organizations are increasingly looking to combine predictive analytics with human expertise to make faster, smarter and more consistent decisions.
Another recurring theme was the importance of strong data foundations and governance. As AI becomes embedded into everyday business processes, organizations must ensure their models are built on trusted data, operate within clear guardrails and support transparent decision-making.
PricingOne and Danone: AI that delivers commercial outcomes
One of the highlights of the Summit was a joint session with Ayla ZIZ, Europe Chief Commercial & Customer Officer at Danone, and Ji-Hoon Dierckx, CEO of PricingOne, showcasing how predictive AI is helping consumer goods organisations better understand consumer needs, improve commercial decision-making, and create measurable business impact.
Two key messages particularly resonated with the audience.
Revenue Growth Management is one connected system
Pricing is only one part of the equation. RGM combines approximately fifteen interconnected commercial levers including pricing, promotions, assortment, pack architecture, innovation and product mix. The opportunity lies in orchestrating these decisions simultaneously instead of optimizing each independently.
AI can identify opportunities before products exist
Perhaps the most compelling example demonstrated how AI identified an opportunity for a product range that had not yet been developed.
Before any investment was made, the platform simulated:
- its role within the portfolio,
- optimal pricing,
- pack architecture,
- expected category contribution,
- incremental commercial potential.
This illustrates how predictive AI is becoming a strategic planning capability rather than simply a reporting tool.

Key Insights from The Consumer Goods Forum Global Summit 2026 : Beyond AI – building resilient consumer businesses
Although AI remained the dominant topic, the Summit also demonstrated that future competitiveness depends on integrating multiple strategic priorities.
Across the three days, executives explored:
- scaling AI across entire value chains rather than isolated pilots;
- building specialized AI agents with robust governance;
- using AI to strengthen supply chains and improve logistics;
- leveraging retail media and omnichannel partnerships to accelerate growth;
- embedding sustainability into commercial strategy through circular packaging, traceability and regulatory compliance;
- preparing organizations for increasing geopolitical uncertainty and supply chain resilience.
One recurring message stood out throughout every session:
Winning organizations will break down silos between technology, sustainability, commercial excellence and operations.
The opportunity for Revenue Growth Management
For PricingOne, the Summit reinforced what we see every day with leading consumer goods companies. RGM is rapidly becoming the operational layer where AI delivers the greatest measurable impact.
Whether optimizing pricing, promotions, innovation pipelines or portfolio strategy, organizations are increasingly looking for AI solutions capable of supporting faster, more informed commercial decisions.
Looking ahead to San Francisco 2027
The conversations in Vienna made one thing clear: AI is no longer about proving what is possible it is about scaling consistently across organizations what works.
As the Summit concluded, The Consumer Goods Forum announced that will take place in San Francisco, at the heart of Silicon Valley. The next edition promises to dive even deeper into AI, technology, data-driven commerce and the future of consumer goods.
PricingOne is excited to continue these conversations and looks forward to meeting customers, partners and industry leaders again in San Francisco at the Global Summit June 8–11, 2027.
